‘The Blackening’ Turns 10 Today

Today, March 27th, marks the 10th anniversary of Machine Head’s, ‘The Blackening.’
One of 2007’s best metal records, the album boasts several lengthy, complex, often melodious masterpieces.
Aptly named, Robb Flynn admits this record was written during some pretty dark times as he was struggling with chronic nightmares-often depicting his own death.

Hard to believe this piece of metal history is already 10 years old.
