Slayer to Slay on The Tonight Show

Slayer has announced via Facebook, that they will be hammering out ‘Raining Blood’ on an upcoming episode of The Tonight Show. See their official statement below:

Two-time Grammy-winning thrash/metal legend Slayer will make its 11:35 PM late-night television debut on Thursday, July 27 when the band performs its iconic “Raining Blood” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The show airs at 11:35PM ET/PT and 10:35PM CT on NBC.’

Before you yell ‘Sellouts!’ at the screen, mind you this is one of Metal’s most controversial songs by one of Metal’s most controversial bands. Any press is good press, I’d say. Who knows, maybe it will spawn more pop stars to wear Slayer shirts. That’s something we can all be mad at, together.
