Ever wondered where that pre-show music comes from at a concert? The weird string of songs, ranging from Kid Rock to Blue Oyster Cult, used as ambient noise while the crew readies the stage? The songs that make you excited to hear the drum tech banging on the snare drum?
We don’t have that answer. What we can tell you is that Metallica has announced that Mix Master Mike of Beastie Boys legend will actually be spinning music we know and love at their shows during this summer’s massive tour,
‘The party will roll all night long during the North American WorldWired tour as we’re psyched to announce that award-winning DJ and producer Mix Master Mike will be spinning some of your favorite (and ours!) hard rock and metal tracks throughout the evening at all of the stadium dates this summer.’
