Holy Wars? It appears Megadeth is meeting opposition from the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party regarding their may 4th show. Apparently they feel Megadeth’s music could negatively impact the Malaysian culture-more so than, say, banning concerts.
There are flyers circling the internet for protest. PAS Youth denies affiliation with the flyers, but hasn’t necessarily denounced the idea of protests. This is not the first time Megadeth has met adversity in Malaysia. No word from the band on whether or not the concert will be affected.
