Korn Issues Statement on Postponed Shows

Korn has offered a reason for postponing a handful of May shows including, most recently, Pointfest in St. Louis this weekend. A statement from the band:

“We regret to announce that we will not be performing at Pointfest this weekend. Jonathan has been given doctor’s orders to rest his vocal cords, and is not able to perform on Saturday. We’re sorry we can’t be there with you and for you, and appreciate your understanding.”

No word on whether or not this will affect further shows, including the ‘Summer of Serenity’ tour with Stone Sour. The tour starts in mid-June.

Here’s to a speedy recovery!
